Monday night was a big night for CBC's flagship program, so why not have a conversation about it before Canadaland tears it to shreds. That's right, we watched the National and then immediately had a post mortem because we're obviously experts in the field of broadcast programming. (plz like share and subscribe follow us on social, join the conversation.)
In this late addition of the News Friends podcast, we get to the heart of the matter and tell you about the animals that fart, why someone has a problem with Moby Dick, Circuses coming to an end, and Mark Zuckerberg hates Hawaiians.
But then hey, let's not beat around the bush. Donald Trump is the 45th president of the United States, it's not going to be avoided to talk about. But instead of it being about him, we try to put our focus on the American people in the dawn of the Trump presidency.
But hey, Snakes CAN fart!
We're just trying to get through it all right now. The outcome isn't exactly what anyone wanted, but now we live in a world where Donald Trump is going to be president. That's a lot to sink in, so that's probably why we're drinking. Michael, Melissa and Edrick do their best to make sense of everything, and hopefully make it a little lighter in the process.
Mentioned in this week's podcast:
What Donald Trump wants to do in his first 100 days
To quote host Dustin Godfrey, "This was going to be an all American politics podcast, but then Brexit happened!" So her grabbed Bryan McGovern and Edrick Dudang to discuss the important issues of the past week.
So much Bregret.
